Sands Macau

Sands Macau is a casino resort located in Macau Peninsula, Macau. It is just five minutes from Macao Ferry Terminal, which is a part of the transportation network to Hong Kong and China.

Sands Macau is owned and operated by the Las Vegas Sands Corporation, and was designed by Steelman Partners, LLP. It comprises a 229,000 square feet (21,300 m2) casino, and a 51-suite VIP hotel.

The casino opened on May 18, 2004 at a cost of about $240 million. In 2006, the casino completed an expansion increasing the casino from 165,000 sq ft (15,300 m2) to 229,000 sq ft (21,300 m2). The casino itself features 740 table games, more than any other single casino in the world.
